Blainey Creative and Consulting (previously Twine Marketing) formed in 2011 has a lot to be proud of:

  • Created "Food Styling & Photography" workshop. Drafted program, found tutors, sourced funding. Maleny event. Also mirrored by Queensland Writers Centre with full permission.
  • Created the very popular "Foodie Nights" series for Maleny IGA bringing local producers together with shoppers in education/taste/cooking evenings.
  • Brokered endorsement & recipe creation contracts.
  • Created the Sunshine Coast's first local food recipe cards for Maleny IGA.
  • Created over 30 Sunshine Coast local food tours in partnership with local food producers, Maleny IGA and Mystic Mountain Tours.
  • Editor and at times writer & photographer of the Maleny IGA A5 colour newsletter. Curating the content and sourcing local stories. Over 89,000 copies published and distributed.
  • Created over 30 Sunshine Coast local food tours in partnership with local food producers, Maleny IGA and Mystic Mountain Tours.
  • Mentored over 50 small and micro business owners in marketing and marketing plan creation.
  • Created and ran "Marketing Mojo Maleny" Meet up for three and a half years. Bringing tutors, training and marketing know-how and inspiration to the Range.
  • Funded the installation and maintenance of the Sunshine Coast's first Book House for 3 years until it was turned over to the community of Maleny in March 2016.
  • Designed the runner-up EFTPOS card new design for Maleny Credit Union.
  • Designed radio & print media advertisements for a number of clients.
  • Creative Direction for a number of client photo shoots & branding.
  • Created storefront and online marketing material including facebook, blog, website etc.
  • Wrote, published and edited blog posts.
  • Created and delivered marketing training in-person and online.
  • Organised a range of events for audiences from 25 to 4000.
  • Investigated design and tourism opportunites and requirements in China relating mainly to food and food tourism.
  • Created opportunites for China/Australia tourism and presented to our local tourism board for follow-up.
